Chapter Committees

               Membership Committee

               “Any time women come together with a collective intention, it’s a powerful thing. When women come

               For the 2020-2021 Program Year, the mother members of the North Texas Chapter will focus on using
               our collective strength to exemplify the mission of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. for our chapter, children
               and community. We have the power to create magic and memories for our children by coming together to
               give them the best programming and engagement experiences possible. We will foster a culture of service
               through uplifting and caring for one another. We will focus on strengthening our village and ensuring that
               every member and child appreciates the value of belonging to our 20-year-old chapter.

               The Membership Committee shall consist of the VP and where possible, a representative from each age
               group. The Membership Committee is responsible for:
                   •  Facilitating recruitment, including developing PNM membership timelines and criteria
                   •  Developing and implementing strategies to grow the Chapter’s membership
                   •  Planning and execution of interesting and meaningful social events for all members
                   •  Maintaining attendance and financial status of members
                   •  Maintaining an updated Membership Directory
                   •  Serving as liaison for the Associates and Father’s Auxiliaries
                   •  Installation of Chapter and Teen Officers

               2020-2021 Committee Goals:
                   •  Recruit, retain and engage members
                   •  Ensure member experience is in accordance with our mission and values
                   •  Strengthen the bonds between members through social and community engagement
                   •  Promote member involvement and participation in chapter events and activities
                   •  Educate and encourage members to actively serve in leadership and committee roles
                   •  Build a pipeline of highly motivated, skilled and talented new members
                   •  Foster a culture of service and exemplary leadership
