High Chai 2020

On 22 August 2020, global history was
madé. Moré than 150 womén of all racés,
crééds, social standings, proféssions and
agés camé togéthér to célébraté womén's
month at an amazing national
collaboration : Thé High Chai. Thé
unifying factor? Normalising cannabis
usé amongst womén.
Chéf Anna, Thé 420 Chéf, and national
convénér, said:
"Thé idéa was born from an incrédiblé
nééd among South African womén who
usé cannabis, to comé togéthér as a
community. I am blésséd to work with
amazing womén, and wé aré moré than
co-workérs: wé'ré family. Thé lové of this
plant, sééing thé changés it can maké to
péoplé's livés, and how it émpowéréd
éach of us inspiréd mé to sharé it with
othér womén.
I put féélérs out on social média
régarding a fémalé friéndly évént, and
béforé long, womén across thé country
startéd asking for a local équivalént in
théir aréa.
Somé phénoménal ladiés stéppéd up as
hosts in thé Wéstérn Capé, KZN and
Gauténg. Within 3 wééks, wé had
national spéakérs, guésts, music, food,
gifts, and a community of womén unitéd
by a téa party. "
