Biomechanics
Fig 20 The mechanics included:
1. Miniscrew anchorage to assist distalization.
2. Class II elastics to enhance distalization while correcting the skeletal
discrepancy.
3. Bite control mechanisms to counteract the deepening effects of these forces.
PLANNING THROUGH 3SHAPE
As we all know 3shape orthosystem is the first fully open software which gives all
controls to the operator. Planning with full control in (3 linear and 3 rotational
adjustment) all 3 planes of spaces with additional center for rotation provided
(at will) is a boon. In this case we used orthosystem clear aligner studio and
appliance designer to design. As 3shape is an open system we had choice to
print it on any third party printer and use preferred 3rd party pressure former
and trimline tool. We have full control for teeth movements with most advance
staging (timeline and way point ) adjustments. In my opinion, currently 3shape
Orthosytem is one of the best option for in house aligner manufacturers.
