• Evaluated Cisco iWAN, but configuring iWAN proved very difficult. After a year of effort, the customer began researching other solutions
• Turned to NetScaler SD-WAN because of XenDesktop optimization performance and the ability to quickly turn up a solution using an overlay
approach

• Citrix Cloud Workspace Service + Microsoft Azure allows the Customer to ‘extend’ their datacentre to the cloud. MSFT provides on-boarding
assistance and Citrix Consulting Services (CCS), helps with cloud governance processes, and needed connectivity enabling end users to
connect their published desktop to the appropriate resource location (on-prem or in Azure)
• XenApp & XenDesktop Service is evergreen. Customer will always be in the latest version of the software and never have to worry about
upgrades and patches again.
• Rapid scalability without additional CAPEX or paying for unused capacity
• Flexibility to run workloads on-premises or in Microsoft Azure

• IT Simplification: Customer wished to outsource IT management. Selected Partner which, in turn, selected Citrix Cloud
• Evergreen: Consuming and managing Citrix solutions in Citrix Cloud ensures customer is always using latest version of software
• Mobility: Provide secure access to apps and data on any device, anywhere; mainly MAM w/ future plans for MDM
• Business Continuity: Customer wanted enhanced availability and disaster recovery provided by combination of private cloud and Citrix Cloud
• Platform Flexibility: Citrix Cloud allows apps, data and/or management in any cloud(s) or infrastructure; supports any hypervisor (Unique to
Citrix Cloud). Customer currently using private cloud. Major reason for selecting Citrix Cloud over VMware AirWatch and VMware Horizon
