Ladybird Room

Ladybirds is an additional room that we use for small

group and 1:1 sessions. Every term we assess our

children’s developmental levels to ensure they are making

expected progress. Children who are working above their

expected level in an area will then have small group

sessions designed to challenge their thinking and

reasoning. Children who are behind in any areas are also

identified and these children are given additional support

again we find with a one to one or small group situation

accelerates their progress.

These sessions are run by our EYFS

coordinator Tarah. She has been working

as a mentor for our apprentices and is

now using her knowledge to help get our

children “school ready.”
