of Development or Centers of Excellence; adopt relevant academic programs that are responsive to the needs of
the local, national and international industries and markets; operationalize its Faculty Development Plan
that conforms to SUC Levelling standards; increase benefactors for student scholarships and grants; and

forge collaborations on specific solid engagements with foreign universities for intercountry mobility of
faculty and students, cultural and academic exchange.

At the moment, the University system collectively offers 105 academic programs in both the
undergraduate and graduate programs. There are 93 baccalaureate programs, and 12 graduate programs
both of these are duly accredited by recognized accrediting agency, the AACCUP. Demand- driven and

competitive programs are being considered for inclusion because we are committed to continue preparing
our students to be well-equipped and ready whenever they immerse themselves in the ASEAN or in global
        communities.

We are equally committed to upgrade our facilities and equipment, including online capabilities, to match

international standards that will enable us to achieve world-class status.
Although higher education institutions, ISU included, are confronted with enormous challenges, it is paramount for

us to keep focus on the goal at hand as we elevate our academic reputation towards internationally comparable
quality, excellence and relevance of programs and instructions as observed
in more prestigious higher education institutions here and abroad.
