About the Author
Nicole Shanklin currently serves as the Director of Elementary Education and ESL Coordinator for the
Belleville Public School District. Her previous experiences include K-12 Supervisor of Instruction and High
School English Language Arts Teacher. She has a Master of Arts in English from The College of New Jersey
and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from William Paterson University. She is currently
pursuing her Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from Centenary University and her Certificate
in Early Education Leadership from Harvard University. Her passion is in curriculum studies and instructional
