       About the Author
                     Dr. Tabina Adam is the principal of Johnnie L. Cochran Jr. Academy in the East Orange School District.
                     Dr. Adam has been an educator for over 13 years in East Orange and has served in numerous capacities
                     including middle and high school English teacher, instructional coach, and English department chair,
                     among others. She holds a Doctorate in Education Leadership Management and Policy from Seton
                     Hall University, Masters in Communication and Education from Columbia University, and Bachelors in

         What is NJLA?
         •  NJLA participants engage in three high-quality, sustained, collaborative professional learning
             sessions that leaders can apply immediately to their practice.
         •  Series 7 topics will be selected based on educational priorities and presented by current district
             or school-based practitioners with expertise in the content

         •  Content connects actionable steps to the core attributes within the Professional Standards
             for Educational Leaders (PSEL) and the Teacher Leader Model Standards to strengthen
             leadership skills

         •  Nine cohorts will be offered for NJLA 7 at FEA and several off-site venues throughout the state
             so that you can find the time and location that works best for you and your leadership team.
