                          Furthermore, today's travellers are more sophisticated than ever, and are now looking for a type of tourism that




                          gives them access to local culture, as well as structured opportunities to participate in different activities and unique




                          life experiences from selected villages. For example:









                          1.Ban  Rim  Klong  Community  Company,  Samut  Songkhram.  It  is  located  on  the  banks  of  the  canal  and  is  thus



                          suitable for growing coconut trees.This may be the most delicious creative tourist destination of them all, as the




                          community's  main  activity  is  to  make  coconut  sugar,  an  essential  ingredient  in  some  of  the  most  popular  Thai




                          desserts.









                          2.Kanchanaburi:  Ban  Nong  Kratoom  Community  in  Rai  Khun  Mon.  The  destination  will          appeal  to  tourists



                          studying traditional medicine, natural herbs, and Thai massage.










                          3.Bencharong  Village,  Samut  Songkhram.  Here  one  can  learn,  and  actually  invent,  Bencharong's  famous  five-



                          cups, plates, pots, and porcelain bowls.










                          4.Explore  some  creative  villages  in  Isan,  or  northeast  Thailand,  including  pottery  in  Ban  Chiang  near  Udon



                          Thani, Thai silk in Chaiyaphum, or fine bamboo items in Kalasin, to name just three.










                          5.Creative  mountain  enthusiasts  interested  in  traditional  culture  and  lifestyle  will  enjoy  creative  villages  in



                          northern  Thailand,  where  you  can  learn  everything  from  hill  embroidery  to  tea  making  to  mahout,  or  certified




                          elephant trainer.
