                              a1 = 85



                              a2 = 107


               Asked : Area of trapezoid


               Answer : :



               L       =   t x ( a1 +a2 ) The formula for the area of a trapezoid


                       = x 51 x (85+107) = 4896

               So the area of Samarinda is approximately 4896 km             2
