A rhombus is a quadrilateral whose all sides are the same

length. It can also be said that: If a quadrilateral whose two diagonals

are perpendicular and bisect each other, then the quadrilateral is a

               rhombus.

A rhombus fulfills all the properties of a parallelogram, thus a rhombus is a

parallelogram whose four sides are the same length, so it has the following
               properties:

               a. every angle is bisected by its diagonals,

               b. the diagonals intersect perpendicular to each other, consider the image

                    below.

Notice the picture above is two congruent triangles, namely ABC dan

               ABD below this.

               a. AC = BC = AD = BD dan AB = AB

               b. CAB = DAB = CBA = DBA

               c. ADB = ACB

If you notice, a rhombus fulfills all the properties of a parallelogram.

Next, to find out how the properties contained in the rhombus, try to do the

               following mini-lab activities!

Perimeter and Area of a Rhombus

 The area of a rhombus is half the product of the lengths of the

                       diagonals.
