A parallelogram is a quadrilateral with pairs of parallel sides, or a
quadrilateral that has exactly two pairs of parallel sides.
Look at the following picture and discuss with your friends how a
parallelogram is obtained from a rectangle.

The picture above shows that the ladder can be obtained from a
rectangular rectangle into two wakes with one of the shapes of the sharing.
