A parallelogram is a quadrilateral with pairs of parallel sides, or a

               quadrilateral that has exactly two pairs of parallel sides.

               Look  at  the  following  picture  and  discuss  with  your  friends  how  a

               parallelogram is obtained from a rectangle.

               The  picture  above  shows  that  the  ladder  can  be  obtained  from  a

               rectangular rectangle into two wakes with one of the shapes of the sharing.


               (ii)  and  then  the  shaded  shaded  to  be  shifted  so  that  it  is  obtained  by
               building  a  ladder  (III).  To  be  more  convincing,  try  to  make  the  picture


               above  using  paper  and  pay  attention  to  the  length  of  the  sides  and  the

               magnitude  of  the  corners!  Based  on  the  process  of  forming  a  ladder  in

               advance, the following properties of the level.

               1.   The sides facing a parallel and equal length, namely AB//CD, AD// BC ,

                    AB = DC, dan AD = BC. Why? Tell!
