A  square  is  a  quadrilateral  with  all  sides  the  same  length  and  all

               angles  being  the  same  size  and  right  angles  (90˚).  From  this

               understanding, it is obtained that each angle is divided equally by its

               diagonal and the two diagonals intersect perpendicularly.



                a.     Around Square

                              Square is a rectangle that is as long as the same length so p = l

                       because p = l, then the perimeter of the square is k = (2(p + l) = 2(2p)

                       = 2(2l)

                       suppose   p = l = s, so

                                     K = 4s

                        with s = square side length

                b.     Square Area

                       A square has a lengthy size = width or p = l = s, then the formula for

                       the area of a square is

                                     L = s x s = s
