 The perimeter of a rhombus is four times the length of its side. Let L

                       be the area of a rhombus with diagonals d1 and d2, then L = x d1 x

                       d2

               Let K be the perimeter of a rhombus with side length s, then K = 4 x s

           5. RECKITE

Of course, some of you have played or seen people

playing kites. Now look at the shape of the kite frame
in the picture on the side which is depicted with the

                                            quadrilateral ABCD.

The quadrilateral ABCD is called a kite with sides AB , side BC , side CD ,

side AD , diagonals AC and BD. Next, to find out what properties are found

in kites, do the following mini-lab activities!

               Nature of Reckite

               1. The lengths of two pairs of adjacent sides are equal,

that is AB = AD dan BC = DC. AB  AD , BC  DC .

               2. A pair of opposite angles has the same measure, i.e ABC = size ADC.

                    ABC  ADC.

               3. One of its diagonals divides the kite into two equal sizes, namely ABC =
ADC or AC is the axis of symmetry.
