A 50 year old club, with a history of invaluable services to the mankind. Rtn. Vinodini Sukumar, the
President and Rtn. Joshy Cyriac, the Secretary of this prestigious club are cherishing the proud moments
of Rotary Club of Cochin West along with its members through a medley of artefacts from the past years
of the club. The club has organised District Seminar on Girl Child Support, the club has also organised
seminars with eminent speakers on Environment Conservation and Finance Management. Projects like
Educational support to Government school girl children’s, COVID Vaccination Camps, Chemo ward
renovation and continuous maintenance and dedicated nurse support are some of the milestones of
the club. The Vocational Project of the club is highly appreciable as it’s a Girl empowerment related
project where the government high school girls are mentored for entrepreneurship. Their signature and
major ongoing projects are Medi-port – Medical Support, FEES – for students, ROSES, Chemo ward
maintenance and adopting Girls home Orphanage. Other projects include environmental projects,
endowment educational scholarships and adopting orphanages. The club also has medical community
projects in heart care, women and child care. They have joint projects with RCC such as Tailoring Unit,
Bamboo planting and Blood Donation Camps. PDG KC Philip is a big motivator for the Club.
DD Rtn.Varghese.K.Joy, AG Rtn. Narayanan. K. Menon and GGR Rtn. SujeshSathyan are always there
for the club.

A very vibrant club with Rtn. Thomas as President and Rtn. Tony Jose as Secretary, along with their members
are regularly involved in service activities towards the society. The club has conducted online seminars on many
useful topics. They also organized Medical camps and Covid care camps. The club is very serious about saving
our planet Earth and have planted various fruit trees around Kattappana area and also promote tree plantation
very actively. The club has appreciated the ASHA workers with Vocational Awards. Knowing the importance of
literacy, they support the education of children by giving scholarship for deserving students. Inaugurated an
Interact Club @ Mary Matha Public School and also a Toilet block. PDG Baby Joseph, PDG Pathy & Rtn. Chella
were also present. PDG Baby Joseph is a big pillar of support for the Club.
The next day along with PDG Baby Joseph, PDG Pathy and Rtn. Chella inaugurated their Global Grant Project
‘Wash”.
DD Rtn. Maj. Gen. Vivekanandan, AG Rtn. Joy.V.M and GGR Rtn. Babu Francis are guiding the club.
