remission.

Remission, then, that is, the putting away of

sin, is the work to be done. The cleansing,

therefore, is not physical cleansing, but a

cleansing from sin. But how came sins

connected with the sanctuary, either the

earthly or the heavenly, that it should need to

be cleansed from them? This question is
