deal with him have a high regard for his ability and meeting the timelines.
At school and after school he played hockey at a high level and of course there was Papa on the sidelines giving him advice, even though I had only played one game in my life. He unfortunately suffered an injury to his hand which cut short his hockey career. However not to be outdone, he did play tennis again at a high standard and I must say he and I had some battles on the tennis court, particularly when he wouldn’t allow me to win. I enjoyed the days when I used to beat him but when he started winning, I expected him to hit the ball to me although there are many the times when we broke up in somewhat of a disagreement. Apart from his winning streak and I really love him and do believe given the right opportunities, he will be successful in business.
Kimberley
Of all the grandchildren I have never met anybody like Kimberley who is the other mother and commonly referred to as bossy boots. It’s probably a little unfair but she does hold together the younger ones, making sure that she can help Mum in many of Debbie’s commitments, whether they be around the house or chauffeuring kids around, Kimberley is always there to help. Kimberley has qualified as a school teacher and I can just imagine her in class; she will be a tough act.
Insofar as sport is concerned, she played top soccer and represented the school in soccer and was the Vice-Captain of the final year team. While she probably doesn’t want me to say anything about it, she also did a little bit of ballroom dancing but it just was not her forte. In her early stages, she was a great competitor to any boy. She was just as good as anyone when it came to back yard cricket, touch rugby, you name it, she was one of the toughies. Again, I used to
