Thanks to all our members and friends who participated in the 2023 photo contest for National Surveyors Week.
We received over 35 photo submissions. It was wonderful to see so many different aspects of surveying
and regions throughout NY. The PR Committee had so many favorites, it was hard for them to choose
just one winner.

McGlauflin who notes: “The photo is of my co-worker Joe
Murray on the American Veteran’s Memorial Pier in Bay Ridge
Brooklyn with the Manhattan skyline in the back ground. It was
our first day at this specific job. We were taking gps observations
on specific points to anchor our photogrammetry to. The job we
