LOVE STORY
Brian and Sue Hoare
Matthew our first son was born 24th March 1973
followed 5 years later on the 8th April 1978 by
Anthony. Our boys have given us five grandsons
and a granddaughter. Matthew lives in Bensville
on the Central Coast (two sons and a daughter)
and Anthony is about to move from Rouse Hill to
North Richmond (three sons).
In May of 1990 we moved to Glenhaven where we
lived until 2017. When we left the lawns, hedges,
gardens, leaves and maintenance for the new life at
Cranbrook Residences.
We enquired regarding a unit in October 2015 and
put down a deposit because it looked like a premium
independent living place where we could spend our
time doing other activities other than looking after

transferred to Vocational Guidance Bankstown being
closer to home. What a great decision it has been meeting more new
friends in a great community!
I was a clerk at the Bankstown office and had
enrolled in a Production Engineering Course looking
for a Cadetship.
We went on our first date on the 25th May 1965 to a
dance.
Sue was learning ballroom dancing and to help win
her over, I also started classes. We courted for three
years going to dances and motoring events.
We were engaged on 28th September 1967 and
married on the 25th May 1698 at Belmore and
honeymooned on the Gold and Sunshine Coasts.
Fifty five and a half years and still going strong.
We first lived in a flat which I build at the back of my
parents placed in Rydalmere and upon returning
from our honeymoon, bough a block of land in
Winston Hills where we built our first home in 1972.
