7 COLOURS OF CRANBROOK, WINTER 2018
Lansdowne Gardens
We welcomed Jackie Goss as the new Director of Care Services.
Jackie comes to us with a wealth of experience, including having
nursing experience in Cardiothoracic Intensive Care at Royal Prince
Alfred Hospital, and with experience working in remote Indigenous
community nursing. On the social side of things, the residents have
been busy attending such events as the Boronia House High Tea at
Mosman, the Justice and Police Museum Tour at the Museum of
Sydney, and recently the VIVID Festival of Light Cruise, where some
90 light installations and projections were viewed as residents cruised
Sydney Harbour. It will be a busy time ahead at Lansdowne Gardens
with a refurbishment of Manns Avenue planned for the second half
of 2018.
Cranbrook Residences
It has been an eventful time at Cranbrook Residences and there will
be many new residents moving in over the next few months. Thank
you to the amazing Bella Vista Gardens food services team lead by
Elvis for providing some stunning food for the Cranbrook Residences
events including the Bollywood evening and high teas. In May, we
were lucky to be paid a visit by the Local Member of Parliament,
the Honourable David Elliott. David spoke articulately and shared his
passion for the local area, discussing important changes he has made.
He continues to lobby to improve the services, facilities and amenities
in The Hills area. On the social front – the activities and options
continue to swell with the upcoming addition of a new table tennis
table, adding to the growing list of activities that residents can enjoy!
Cranbrook at Home
Cranbrook at Home has continued to gain momentum as the team
continues to plan and prepare for the rest of the year, with staff
recruitment, marketing launch and technology updates pending.
If you are looking for more hours and you’ve had experience in home
care we want to hear from you. Cranbrook at Home is growing and
looking for staff to care for clients living in their own homes.
Call 02 9458 9950 for more information.
West Street
At West Street we have had a number of new staff appointments
including Lisa Forbes commencing as Clinical Compliance and
Education Manager and a growing Marketing team. Julie Parras
has joined, heading up the Cranbrook Residences brand and also
managing the Home Care brand, Cranbrook at Home. Nerilee Chen
also commenced as Marketing and Communications Coordinator,
assisting the team with its growing needs. There has been a hive
of activity at West Street as usual, but the team continues to thrive
amongst the demands of the working week.
