Well, we have hit the halfway mark in 2021. We have
successfully rolled out the COVID-19 vaccination to
protect our residents and working towards our staff
being vaccinated too. Our residents and staff have also
been vaccinated against Influenza which assists us Residents enjoying Jazz on the Green
during the cooler months. Thank you to all of the
friends and families who have also been vaccinated to
ensure we protect our residents and staff.

We also had a surprise visitor to both residences a few
weeks ago. Yes, for those who saw it with their own
eyes, we had a horse visiting us. Not just a pony but a
16 and a half hands high horse, he was a huge hit with
the residents and there have been numerous requests
for an encore. Recently our residents enjoyed a “Classy
Affair with Cheese & Wine tasting ” and many family
and friends joined us. Thank you to Sally and Ashley Mitsie meeting Bushman the therapy horse
for doing such a great job sharing the history of wine
and cheese in Australia and hosting the events.

Glory our matriarch turned 101 and she celebrated for
a week. Surrounded by generations of family and
friends she held court and had a fabulous time
enjoying some bubbly and cake of course.
