SPRING 2023
BAYSWATER NEWS
Welcome
By Annette Swerydow
Hi Bayswater Gardens residents and friends. Spring is here
(yippee!) we can sit out in the garden and enjoy the
beautiful view over the bay. I am so lucky to be working
here - you are the best residents anyone could ever ask for!
A big warm welcome to our new permanent residents
Mario, Basil, Rae, George, Dr Leong and Christine. We are
also fortunate to have our new Residential Services &
Relations Manager, Kun Rahadian, join the team. Kun is Bus trip to watch Mamma Mia the
passionate about supporting your journey in aged care and musical
brings a wealth of experience in staff management and
consumer experiences. I am very happy to tell you that we
have a full registered nurses’ roster. I truly believe we have
good people on board who are caring and kind. Welcome
Bipana, Kabita, Yun, Nikita on the mornings, Karuna, Srijana,
Amrit, Divya in the afternoons and Jobelle and Indira on
nights.
It’s been a busy winter with our enhanced services events,
Jazz on the Green and Winter Music Festival. Plus, we have
had Christmas in July, Zumba and who could forget the Elvis
show. We had a ball; my feet ached all week from dancing!
Bayswater Gardens Resident Advisory meetings are now
held on the last Thursday of every month with Kun, Ruth Residents knitted a blanket for the
Vinnies winter charity drive
and myself. We had Helen and Tjitske join our group.
Best wishes,
Annette Swerydow
Director of Care Services
