Meet a Resident
Christine Manning
Christine was born in Melbourne and moved
primary school in regional NSW in Orange. In
the early 50’s, the family moved to Lugarno and
Christine attended St George Girls High School
at Kogarah. After Christine left High School,
she attended Technical College and studied
Medical Technology and went into
Microbiology.
Christine married and had two children.
Christine has several grandchildren and enjoys
spending time with them. Her husband passed
away on New Year’s Eve several years ago.
Christine enjoys playing golf, walking, fishing,
embroidery and gardening. She also loves going
to the opera and musicals. Christine is a
member of the Drummoyne Choir and is an
avid singer. Christine has a passion for travelling
reading books and enjoys having a subscription
to Audible.
Her favourite place to be is by the water and
she loves Bayswater Gardens because the staff
have a bubbly personality, and she enjoys the
many events she attends.
For The Diary
In addition to our regular weekly activities, visiting
entertainers, Laughter Boss, Zumba, cooking,
fashion parades, daily exercises, Dance Wise, arts
and crafts and bus outings, here are some of our
events for winter.
