William Cape Gardens
William Cape Gardens will undergo a major refurbishment commencing
in July 2019. The project will include re-painting the whole residence
a lighter white, installing carpet in most areas, refurbished wardrobes,
new curtains, new bathroom vanities and shaving cupboards and
changing the ceiling lights. We will also be changing our beds to king
singles with new bed footers, bedheads, bedside tables and visitor
chairs. Our lounge and dining areas are going to receive a major
makeover with new furniture, serveries and a music system.
The Café and Reception area are also going to have some big changes
to open up the space to be more welcoming and with more on offer
in the Café. We will also be giving the gardens a makeover. The entire
refurbishment is expected to take several months, but to minimise the
impact on everyone, we will be staging the works in small areas.

Bella Vista Gardens
Bella Vista Gardens & Cranbrook Residences were thrilled to be named
Australia’s Best Retirement Living Development in Australia after
winning the Property Council of Australia Innovation & Excellence
Award 2019.
Managed by the Property Council of Australia, the National Innovation
& Excellence Awards is one of the most prestigious property awards
programs in Australia, promoting excellence in design and innovation
in the built environment since 1982. The Property Council of Australia
aims to showcase superior examples of iconic projects in property
development and investment across a broad range of sectors and
design disciplines. The award was presented on 17 May at the Property
Council Gala dinner.

Bayswater Gardens
Nigisty Belay from Bayswater Gardens was a finalist at the LASA NSW
Excellence in Aged Care Awards 2019. Nigisty was a finalist in the
Individual Category which recognises an individual who has made an
outstanding contribution to the age services sector, has used innovation
and initiative to improve the lives of older people and has delivered high
quality care to the aged.
In just over a year at Bayswater Gardens, Nigisty has made a big impact
on our residents. Nigisty displays all of the Cranbrook Care values,
being caring, passionate and respectful are three that standout. Nigisty
is passionate in her consistency of providing exceptional and quality
care to the residents in Camellia. Her manner with residents is always
respectful and maintains the dignity of each individual resident. Nigisty
cares deeply for our residents. Nigisty has also recently graduated with
a Nursing Degree. Congratulations Nigisty!
