    IN MEMORY OF

The Habitat family was saddened to lose two
of our board members during the past year
to health-related issues. Marty Smith served
Habitat as the board chair from 2019-2021,
and Shannon Luton served as the board
secretary from 2019 until his recent passing.
Our continued thoughts and prayers go to
Melanie Smith, Julie Luton, and their families.
We are grateful to have shared the vision
and mission with these two servant leaders.
To honor these two men and their families, Habitat will plant two trees with memorial signs in front of the
Amenity Center at The Cotton Groves Community in McKinney. These will serve as a lasting memorial to their
work on behalf of our future homeowners and their families. The Match Group (where Shannon worked)
sponsored the computer lab inside the Amenity Center at The Cotton Groves, now known as the Shannon
    Luton Computer Training Lab.
TRANSFORMING at housing as a human right,
'A lot of people don't look

    LIVES but it is.'
