VOLUNTEERS

Our volunteers are the heart and soul of
our organization, and volunteer labor
support is crucial to our mission to build
affordable housing solutions. Volunteer
groups (like The Match Group pictured to
the left) make a difference by picking up a
hammer and changing a family's life. Often,
volunteers gain as much or more from the
building experience than the families they
partner with. Our core group of volunteer
leaders, the Build Crew Chiefs, are
essential to our ability to complete our
mission. This volunteer force provides us
with a never-ending source of motivation,
selflessness, and empowerment for
everyone on the job site.

FIND YOUR PASSION-GIVE WITH PURPOSE BUILD CREW MEMBERS
Over the past years, we have been blessed by your
continued and generous financial support during
North Texas Giving Day, and this last year was no
exception. As a result of our anonymous matching
gifts these past four years and with your help, we
have raised over $700,111, which goes directly to
serve our mission: Seeking to put God’s love into
action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together
to build homes, communities, and hope.

Our Home Repair Program is part of a
nationwide effort through Habitat for Humanity
to help low-income homeowners maintain their
homes despite the financial difficulty. Most
qualified applicants are elderly, have a
disability, or are veterans who live on a fixed or
minimal income. Many are forced to delay or
cannot perform maintenance creating unsafe
living conditions.
