3 unwritten poems

1. mysteries: occult healing practices and their believers
from the point of view of a man who is realizing his own
mortality, the fragility of life and the value of his partner who is

the same age and who seems to be as young when they first met

2. just-us: freedom from the perspective of a man who has
given up on the idea of success, making money or living for a

long time and who has realized the value of being ordinary and
unburdened by possessions and complicated relationships,
who finds himself wealthy beyond belief and gives it away

3. perfect movie: funny and moving, not sentimental;

plot changes without violence, relationships without insoluble
conflict; sometimes absurd but not silly; no car chase and no
psycho-serial killer, no aliens or people who see ghosts, no

super-beings, no vampires or zombies; no cliff-hanging for the
return of the hero; a happy ending not necessary if the
protagonist never quits trying; tears optional; not too much

dying, lots of warmth and perhaps some lessons, a few
surprises and a hint of redemption
