All Change!

         Moving from TunedIn to TurnedOn

People don’t resist change. They resist being changed!
                                Peter Senge
Many underestimate the engagement communication challenge –
that is, the journey, effort and support required to engage your
people in what you do ... especially when undertaking transformation
         programmes.
If you want people to be aware - you inform them.

If you want them to understand
                      – you inform and educate them.

If you need them to accept something
                  - you inform, educate and involve them.

If you want them to act differently - you inform, educate,
involve and motivate them to want to do it.

If you want them to change - you inform, educate, involve,
motivate and support them through the change journey.

If you want to engage them - you take them on the
journey with you - by informing, educating, involving,
motivating, supporting and most importantly leading
                                  them!

As we all embrace new ways of working whatever the message or
medium the principles stay the same. The communication team help
build these foundations, they don't just dress the windows at the end
of the journey. It does not need to be complex but it does need
thinking through early on and collaboration. You do this WITH people
         not TO them.
