7 UNLOCKING CONVERSATIONAL MODE
You don’t have to stay glued to a keyboard to use a Chat^Book. If your AI partner can read full
PDFs or long prompts, you can upload the complete Chat^Book and let Chatty guide you
through it as a coaching-style conversation.

Chatty will brief you, ask the reflection questions, explore your answers, and then write your
Radically Useful Report at the end - just as if you’d typed it all out.

If your tool doesn’t support uploads, you can copy and paste each section (A–D) one at a time.
That’s the original Life^Work method and it works beautifully. You might even prefer to talk it
through while you’re walking or reflecting - not every insight needs a screen. Whether you speak
or type, the aim is the same: a clear, enabling conversation that helps you think.

                                            You lead. Chatty enables.

If you’d like to understand what this looks like in practice, here’s your Human Guide.

HUMAN GUIDE: USING CHAT^BOOKS AS A COACHING CONVERSATION

Sometimes writing feels heavy - or you just think better out loud. That’s where the
               Conversational Mode comes in.

Every Chat^Book can run as a coaching-style conversation between you and Chatty - the same
structure, just spoken (or typed interactively) instead of written. You might even prefer to do it
while you’re out on a walk, thinking aloud- or somewhere that helps you get out of your head
               and into your truth.

               Here’s how it works:
                   1. Upload or paste the full Chat^Book
Give Chatty the complete guide or prompt file so it has full context - especially Sections
A to D. If you’re using a PDF-enabled plan, you can simply upload the file. Tell Chatty you
want to do the whole thing as a coaching conversation where they lead the discussion as
your Coach. (Explain any Role and Tone requests you want here too).

                   2. Let Chatty brief you
Chatty will start with a short orientation drawn from the Introduction (A) - explaining the
theme, purpose and flow of the Chat^Book. Think of it as a quick warm-up: what we’re
exploring and how we’ll do it.

                   3. Work through B + C together
This is the heart of the conversation. Chatty will guide you through the reflection
questions (B) and the deeper, exploratory dialogue (C) in one flow. You’ll be prompted to
talk, reflect, and expand - just like in a coaching session. You don’t need to manage the
order - Chatty knows when to probe deeper, when to pause, and when to move on.
You just need to answer honestly, stay curious and build on what emerges.
