From Architect of your vision to Builder of your plan
Hikmaty encourages you to take full responsibility and ownership of your life.
So naturally we start on the premise that you need to be the Architect of the
vision for that ideal life. If you do not already have a clear vision for your future
or goals you want to focus on identified, we have our Design Your Life Course.
We share a few of these tools to help you begin this process in section 3. Just !
enough to get those 8 goals identified and battle boards created. Designing
your life and annual planning to deliver them, is a topic we cover in a lot more
detail on the Course. We see it as a vital foundation activity where you do the
work and then input the information into your Journal. The Journal is designed
to work for you whether you have already done this planning or are just
beginning.
From weekly action plans to a daily writing habit
You take the Actions from your 8 Goal Battle Boards and transfer them out into
the 15 weeks MAPs that cover your 100 days. This focuses your work on your
priorities to get stuff done that matters. The daily pages are designed for
taking action and tracking progress. However there is more emphasis on
creating a simple thought provoking daily writing habit starting with gratitude,
successes and kindness and then going wherever you want it to.
Setting yourself up to win with good habits
In our Journal we track gratitude, kindness, steps, water intake, exercise and
meditation daily. You can track an additional 8 habits to support the delivery of
your goals or the important habits in your life. If you create the right support
structure these daily small consistent steps can significantly increase your
chances of delivering on your goals.
Reflection, self awareness and learning
One of our Journals strengths is the weekly and 6 weekly reviews for reflection,
learning and freeform writing that are incorporated into the design. So they
become habits too. Whilst the daily journaling habit enhances your self
awareness the real power comes from taking the lessons from each days
writing over time and learning from the patterns, ideas and results that
emerge.
