parts. Growing plants from their body parts such as root, stem or leaves is
            called vegetative reproduction.

            From Roots

Carrot and sweet potato can grow into

            new plants from their roots.

                                                                                 Carrot Sweet potato
                                                From Stem

Many plants like rose, money plant, sugarcane can
                                                be grown from stem cuttings.

            From Underground Stem

Potato, an underground stem, has buds called eyes which
            give rise to new plants.
                                                                                                   Potato with eyes

                                         From Leaves

Some leaves like those of bryophyllum, grow new plants
on their edges. These plant fall off and grow into new

            From Spores

Some plants, such as ferns and fungi, do not have
flowers. They produce spores, each of which

grows into a new plant. Fern with spores

                                                        Agriculture

The large number of plants grown in a particular region during a particular
season to get food or fibre, and to provide industrial raw material are called

            crops.

Agriculture is the process of growing and harvesting crops. Harvesting is
