DISCIPLINARY PROCEDURES
SPECIALIST TECHNICAL SERVICES
Policy Relating to Disciplinary Procedure
● This policy deals with the disciplinary procedures associated with breaches
of company procedures, in this case Health and Safety policy and
procedures.
● Where an employee’s conduct, attendance or performance warrants
disciplinary action, the following disciplinary procedure will apply.
● Stage 1: Verbal Warning – Where employee fails to conform to company
standards of conduct, attendance or performance, a verbal warning will be
issued. A written record will be kept on the employee’s file. This warning
will be kept on your personnel fine for a period of 6 months.
● Stage 2: First Written Warning – In the event of a further breach the
employee will be issued with a formal written warning by his or her
manager. This will be recorded and a copy given to the employee in the
presence of a third party. This warning will be kept on your personnel file
for a period of 6 months.
