USE OF WORK EQUIPMENT
SPECIALIST TECHNICAL SERVICES
● Inspect portable power tools before each use.
● All tools shall be 110 volts ONLY (in the UK and Ireland) or to meet any
other countries regulatory requirements, if applicable.
● All tools shall be double insulated or grounded.
● Outlets used for all tools shall be protected by ground fault circuit
breakers.
● Do not repair or alter tools.
● Guards shall stay in place.
● Do not use the electric cord to hoist or lower tools.
● No damaged electrical tools, equipment or conductor shall be used.
● Always ensure that all long hair/drawstrings/lanyards for ID/loose sleeves
are safely tied up before using motor driven tools.
● You need to be trained to mount an abrasive wheel & be on the register
(grinder or chopsaw).
