    Presenter: Tristine Bogle ‐ Chandler Unified School District
    Recently, there have been an abundance of grant and programs available for operators of child nutrition
    programs.  These opportunities are not only beneficial to the children that participate, but they can bring extra revenue
    to your program and give staff additional work in a struggling economy.  Come and join us as we explore the availability
    of these opportunities and discuss innovative ways to use these programs and grants to bring more revenue to your
    district’s child nutrition programs.


    206:  Application of Indirect Cost Rate for the Federal Child Nutrition Programs (Part 1)
    Presenters: Nicholas Dunford ‐ Arizona Department of Education and Mila Makal ‐ Arizona Department of Education
    The Arizona Department of Education, Health and Nutrition Services will provide an overview of the Indirect Cost Rate
    calculation and discuss proper application of the rate specific to the food service operations of Districts operating the
    federal Child Nutrition Programs.
