3. Coat the knot with saliva and pull on both standing parts of line. The

                     tag ends should extend through the loop enough so that they don’t
                     slip out when you tighten the knot. You want the wraps to be neat,
                     tight coils or barrels, as shown here. Trim the tag ends.
