                  The Flower Knot is a dependable replacement for a Clinch Knot, Peter
               Corbin  says.  However,  Corbin  also  warns  it  can  pull  out  if  it’s  not  tied

               properly: “I think what happens is, the last tag on the pull-through will just
               be a curlicue, because it has to reverse to tighten up properly. The knot is
               really quick—it’s an overhand knot, and then the tag goes back through
               the  other  way  to  complete  it.  It’s  simple.  As  I  get  older,  and  I  have  to
               change my glasses or whatever when tying a knot, I can always do this

               one. My hunting partner Jim Kline showed it to me, and initially I did have
