George Harvey Dry Fly Knot
If you love trout, you should know the name George Harvey. His obituary
reads: “Having organized what is believed to be the first college angling
course in the US, Mr. Harvey became known as the Dean of American
Fly Fishing.” He was a legendary angler, yes, but he was also a
legendary teacher who indoctrinated countless anglers into fly fishing
through his coursework at Penn State. We honor the man and his legacy
by including this knot.
