On the harbor.
Chapter 2
Jonathan mentions, "Today we are sailing to Kullen, and I imagine we'll have lunch there,"
as they drive down Rungstedroad, the road linking Hoersholm to Rungsted. This road
concludes at an intersection with the renowned Beach road, which meanders along the
northern coast of Zealand. From the start of the journey in Copenhagen, the Swedish coast
is visible. They catch sight of Rungsted Harbor, lively with people and cars. Suddenly, with
an awkward grin, he slams his fist on the steering wheel and exclaims loudly...
"What do I hate most on a Saturday? Andrew knows what his father hates. It's sailboats
and Edward Jains. His father only likes fast motorboats, and he has repeatedly expressed
how ridiculous he thinks sailboats are. His comments have been as follows: "They're for
old people, and why would you spend hours just staring at the water? They could take a trip
on one of the ships I use to transport oil, and they'd quickly get tired of the water and
moving slowly." Andrew shares his father's temperament but inherits his mother's looks,
as noted by those familiar with her. In contrast, Iben resembles Jonathan in appearance
but shares the temperament of their grandmother and mother. Andrew is passionate about
punk, 90s grunge, and a touch of goth rock. His interest extends beyond the music to the
mystique of the style. He is often described as an incredibly handsome young man. Unlike
his father, Andrew is not muscular; he is slender with pale skin and long arms, which are
visible today in his signature black T-shirt featuring the rock band "Rage Against the
Machine." His pants are equally distinctive—tight black jeans. Apart from these, his closet
contains only dress pants. He accessorizes with a large, studded belt, its buckle adorned
with a solid iron skull. Andrew's father, Jonathan, surprisingly embraces his son's punk
style and provocative clothing. Contrary to what one might expect, he is pleased with
Andrew's cultural interests and chooses not to hinder his growth in that area. When
Samantha first observed Andrew's worn and sometimes dirty punk attire, Jonathan
expressed his contentment, stating he would not interfere with Andrew's development.
Andrew, sitting in the back seat, notices the silence as no one responds to his father's
question. "Do you dislike climate activists?" Jonathan inquires. "No, I don't mind them. Try
again," comes the reply. "Is it the shipowner Edward Jains?" he asks while turning his face
