nannies, lovers, and girlfriends. His mother and grandmother also helped raise Iben and
Andrew. His mother had been incredibly helpful, visiting daily to ensure everything was
well. She assisted him with meals and the daily household management. Financially, he
was well-off, so it didn't bother him. Out of pity and at his mother's urging, his father had
quickly placed him at the top of the family's conglomerate of oil, gas, and transportation
companies. The father, who had been advanced in years, passed away early, and before
Jonathan turned 35, he was the top executive in one of the country's 100 largest
companies. He took a deep breath for a few seconds, while he contentedly let his gaze drift
from the villa over the large round driveway and front yard, which faced one of the country's
most exclusive streets, the well-known Queen's Manor Avenue in the town of Holte north
of Copenhagen. In front of him was his brand-new black Range Rover, and next to it was

arrival area in front of the house, which he bought six years ago in connection with his
wedding to his new wife Samantha. He is tall, 6'2", broad-shouldered, so that his brand-
new dark blue Moncler polo is a bit tight across the chest, as are his white chinos around
his well-toned thighs. His thick brown well-groomed hair with a casual side part is
brushed back, except for a single lock that stubbornly keeps falling into his forehead on his
square, almost perfectly friendly face with a strong jawline and a pair of highly intelligent,
inquisitive brown eyes under the high forehead. No one will doubt when they see him that
he is a man who has lived well, on the sunny side of life. The courtyard faces the exclusive
Queen's Manor Avenue and features a fountain in the center, where a white 10-meter-high
four-headed figure sprays water from its mouth. The water lands in a round basin and
