have somehow filled the content with poison. He is still conscious, well at least

enough to think about Claire's words. She didn't want to kill him; they had
become kind of friends. His hands are cold, it feels like blood is slowly starting to

flow away from those he's about to become paralyzed. With a phone in one hand,

he bent down and emptied the paper basket under the desk onto the floor. The
screw cap! He finds that the lid has been unscrewed and reattached; he can feel

the tiny remnants of glue sitting along the inside of the lid.

It darkens before his eyes, he can with difficulty and hardly get back in the
chair. With the last remnants of rational thinking he has left, he decides to do

                   what Claire has said.
His laptop is on the desk and is on, he quickly logs into his bank account and with

three clicks he transfers the two million euros he has left to Nicole's account. He

throws himself down on himself; he can no longer move his legs.
There is a loud bump, as Rainar Groosen's forehead hits the thick carpet of the

office and the office chair falls down on its side, but no one hears it.

                                                           ***

                   At PET’s Copenhagen offices

As soon as Tom enters Bjørn's office, he yells out "Teddybear", as they call

Bjørn, which immediately gets up from his chair and greets him with a friendly

                   slap on the shoulder.
“So great to have you back, mate! I was deeply concerned about the whole

                   situation. ”

Bjørn articulates the words in such a way, that you’re totally convinced that
means them. The deep furrows in his forehead and his tired complexion on his

face reveal that he has not had much sleep over the last couple of days.

"It was - and is a very stupid situation," Tom replies. His and Bjørn’s friendship
has grown stronger over the past few years. They are both hyper perfectionists,

                   but in quite different ways.
Bjørn gestures with his hand that he must sit in the round leather desk chair
