Janokovic and George continue on their way, reaching the Bakeloon High Street,

a ring road that runs all the way around the city. The traffic is heavier and more
intense.

"We’ll be there soon. You should go get your medicine."

They make a turn to Bakeloon Street, and after about ten minutes walking,
George says: “My father is probably not at home right now, and if he is, then he’s

sleeping. I think he was shit-drunk yesterday. He usually is on Friday. "

They now see the twenty tower blocks where George lives with his father. They
live in the middle section, also called the Y-Houses.

"You’ll manage to walk the rest of the way yourself, right?" Says Janokovic
impatiently. He is looking forward of getting rid of George, not hanging on to that

responsibility anymore.

"Hurry, go take your medicine as soon as you get up to the flat, then call me in a
few hours, yeah?"

"Alright," says George a little defiantly, while looking at him for a moment.

"You don’t have to be a dad to me. I have The Painter, and that’s more than
enough. "

“That's not it, George. I’m just worried about you not talking your pills. I don’t
want any drama. It’s very important to me. As you walk the last part alone, I’ll

stay here and smoke, keeping an eye on you mate"

Janokovic opens the pack of cigarettes and knocks out a few. He reaches two
cigarettes and hands one to George, while putting the other one in his own

mouth. He fetches a lighter from his inner pocket and lights them both up.

George turns his back and starts walking down the road, towards the tower
blocks. Janokovic stands back with the newspaper tightly squeezed under his

arm, and impatiently watching George, getting smaller and smaller in the

distance, then looking at the station building that’s under constructuon, a little to
the left of the first block. Apparently there’s going to be a train-station, just

where the blocks is starting. He can't help but think of how easy it will be to mug

someone on the newly constructed path-system, that will lead from the new
train station to the blocks.
