"What do you mean by that? " says the Chief and begins to walk back and forth

                   around the office.
"There is no indications that they have worn gloves, plus we’ve also found a

couple of purses, which they’ve emptied except for the ID’s belonging to the

purse-owners, which of course is reported stolen. These are elderly people's
belongings, but on both the purses we have fingerprints. And now to the peculiar

part, it’s, well, undoubtedly a child's hand on the wallets. " Says Jameson, looking

completely odd anddisbelieving, like if he were having a heat stroke.
"We have worked very hard in the department to get to this information here."

"You seem uneasy, I know you, what’s your conclusion, Jameson?
“Of the shoe- and fingerprints that we’ve gathered, I find it interesting, that

there’s something pointing towards that all of them are children in fact – no

adults. We could call this whole incident a case of boyish pranks perhaps? "
"Thank you. Go home and get some rest. " Says the Chief.

"Thanks, Sir. You can read about the remaining in the file."

"Boyish pranks you say, hmm, there have been others who reporting to me
about adolescent crime and gangs. Next step is finding out who is in the gangs

and which gang have been on the pier that day. It is probably not something that
Mathew would like to hear, but well… Anyway, as I said, take the rest of the day

off; you have been working intensely for the last four hours since I last saw you. ”

Jameson stares into his eyes, then proceeds to utter:
“Youth gangs is something that the devil has created. They always have to outdo

each other, and are in constant fight and competition with one another. We need

to catch the guys responsible for this matter as soon as humanly possible. “
Jameson rises up, puts on his police helmet and leaves the office.

After Jameson left, the Chief sits down, lights up his pipe and ponders on where

to start, given the new details in the case. Then he makes a quick decision.
Instead of spreading out the investigation on Brighton and beyond, he’d rather

gather the entire police force and the focus solely on the West End-area, where

                   the tip came from.
He decides to step out of the office to get a hold of Mrs. Smith.

"I want to call in the two patrols that are on duty in District West. Can you call
