The Cloverleaf Knot is more of a challenge to
make when joined with other Cloverleaf Knots or
indeed with other unrelated knots. The challenge
comes when you have to feed the end of the cord
through instead of simply wrapping the loop around
or tucking it through. Study carefully the turns that
may have to be made when inserting the end of the
cord instead of wrapping and tucking.
The following compound Cloverleaf Knot takes
an added turn in, resulting in a more complex centre

time to start dressing the knot.

end back through u,

through the fourth loops tightened a little, ready
for the next round of adjustment. make sure
to dress each part flat when using flat cord, as
shown here.
