A. Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Attend to the daily Housekeeping briefing and departmental meeting.
2. Clean housekeeping cart and all housekeeping equipment and make sure it is functional before endorsing
to the next shift.
3. Prepare housekeeping supplies including but not limited to linens, guest room amenities, cleaning
equipment and chemicals.
4. Check linen quality prior to usage.
5. Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces and areas according to the hotel safety
requirements.
6. Respond and deliver promptly all guest room requests
7. Clean guest room following all approved cleaning processes, procedures and policies.
8. Ensure that all room set-up is within the Minimum Quality Standards.
9. Clean the assigned pantry and storage areas before the end of shift
10. Prepare and submits accurate shift reports
11. Maintain the cleanliness of guest hallways
12. Understand and execute the emergency procedures for the entire Hotel
13. Report inspected room defect/s to the Housekeeping Floor Supervisor supported by a Job Order Request
Form.
14. Replenish consumed mini-bar items.
15. Report of missing items in the room.
16. Surrender all lost and found item.
17. Safe keep assigned floor card per standard policy.
18. Submit guest supplies retrievals and count to the Material Custodian by the end of duty.
19. Inspect all door and window locks to ensure that they are in working order and immediately alerts the
engineering and security to any unsecured and unsafe conditions in the guest rooms.
20. Inspect functionality of all room equipment including but not limited to LCD TV, Faucets, lights and bulbs,
microware, etc. and immediately reports all room status and room defects for immediate resolution.
