months before it began in India, and I had to return

in January 2020 owing to these tragic

circumstances.

Despite the fact that I was unable to attend

university in person, HKU continued to offer regular

classes via the internet. During the following

summer vacation, I was particularly

eager to work on self-improvement and skill

development. This is when I had the opportunity to

intern at a foundation, which allowed me to

broaden my HORIZON. It helped me improve my

software as well as my cognitive abilities.

In August, I was lucky enough to return to Hong

Kong once the situation had stabilized. My life in

Hong Kong has been relatively normal since then.

I've been taking regular offline classes, meeting new

people, and continuing to explore this lovely city

while adhering to all of the social distancing norms

and guidelines.

Covid-19 has been tough for everyone throughout

the world. I once read something that helped

change my outlook in these daunting
