HORIZON, 2020-21

-interactive learning. It slowly became increasingly

difficult to keep our spirits high and our hope intact.
However, throughout the year we have learnt to

adjust to this new system, to be flexible and resilient
in times of such adversity.

Juggling our education and our health, both

mental and physical, we somehow got through the
year. It is true that in 2020, we lost many vital

experiences, formative events and even beloved

friends and family but let us not discount all that we
gained. We gained a new perspective on the world,

on our health, our privilege and on the strength of

the collective human race. We conquered one of
the worst years of our lives and while the fight

against coronavirus is still far from over, I am
relentlessly hopeful that this time too, we will

emerge victorious.
