using bright colors early on for both the

protagonists as this was when they were at their

peak, but as time progresses both the protagonists,

slowly begin to lose the spark and the passion they

had for their dreams causing the color pallet to be

less saturated and end

with the color black.

Whiplash and La La Land are both very entertaining,

theatrical and crowd-pleasing movies throughout

their entire duration but it isn't until the finale where

you realize just how carefully all the pieces have

been stacked up

just to knock them all down in an emotional

explosion and that is when they hit you with

something only the best movies can ever offer,
