Four Seasons Brewing Company Code Opinion
Owner/User: Four Seasons Brewing Company
Location: Latrobe, Pennsylvania
Design Statement: Four Seasons Brewing Company’s
interest in constructing a 3,000 square foot brewery and
taproom within its current facility was met with resistance
from the local building inspector. Bernardon’s passion
for the craft brewing industry and our knowledge of the
applicable building codes was critical to the ultimate
acceptance of Four Season’s vision.
The building inspector believed that a fire-rated assembly
was required between the brewery and taproom which
was cost-prohibitive for this small business. Bernardon
prepared a preliminary code evaluation narrative that
thoroughly outlined the applicable uses in a separated The building inspector was very appreciative of the
