3.2.2 HVAC Equipment Acoustical Model: Review the duct layout of the amenity
spaces, a typical residential unit, and a typical hotel guest room, and provide
recommendations based upon the reviewed drawings to aid the HVAC design team
in meeting the background sound level design goals. HVAC unit location and
vibration isolation will be reviewed.

3.2.3 Outdoor Mechanical Noise Evaluation: Based upon the manufacturers’ sound data,
calculate the expected sound pressure levels due to exterior mechanical equipment
and emergency generator at the nearest property lines. The results of this evaluation
will be compared to the limits of the applicable noise regulations. If necessary,
LSG&A will develop noise control recommendations to reduce the acoustical
impact at the neighboring properties.

3.2.4 Documentation: Submit letters and memoranda summarizing the results of the
indoor and outdoor mechanical evaluations, the comparison with the applicable
noise regulations and design goals, and any developed noise control
recommendations. Please note that these recommendations will be in written form
and may include sketches and information regarding products and manufacturers.
