CHAPTER FIVE | Doomed Destiny

The day I le the hospital was the day I felt like the only
thing in the world was pain. Walking made my legs hurt.
Thinking made my brain tense, and my body seemed like it was

malfunctioning. I was put in the back of a car and drove to what
looked like my house. They said I needed more rest, so I stayed

at home another week. The only thing I had in my room was my
computer. I was either up late at night researching what was

happening to me or trying to contact people. It seemed like I had
no friends. No one responded. My brain hurt more than ever,

and I felt like my arms and legs were just simple plastic tubes
stuck to me with tape. I had no idea how to use them. Typing on
a keyboard or moving a mouse took a long time to learn once

more. One day as I was checking the news, a headline popped up.
I frantically pressed and sat there reading it in thoughts.
